From May 7th to 9th, representatives of Cluster’s members JSC “Liepājas Papīrs” and “Kalmeta” Ltd. visited the biggest seafood industry exhibition in Europe “Sea Food Expo Global”.
For more than twenty years, the company “Kalmeta” has been offering quality, safe and convenient food cans for consumers, while “Liepājas Papirs” develops and manufactures various labels and product packaging. The exhibition was a great opportunity for business representatives to get acquainted with the latest trends in packaging and offerings of seafood products.
At the exhibition, representatives of both companies gained new cooperation partners, knowledge and experience that will promote the development of export of enterprises.
The activity was implemented by the Green and Smart Technology Cluster, within the framework of the Cluster program (contract No. 3.2.1.1/16/A/016).

The Green Tech Cluster is a cross-industry organization that brings together businesses, education and research institutions as well as other organizations that partially or fully operate in the green and smart technologies sectors. The cluster now has more than 50 members. The cluster aims to promote cooperation between members, to raise the competitiveness of businesses, increase exports, create innovation and new products, as well as to promote international cooperation, promote the transfer of knowledge, to increase resource efficiency and productivity of a product, service, supply or value chain.
