On 12 September, free seminars at the Liepaja Energy Efficiency Center, located at Coworking Liepaja premises in Old Ostmala 24, resumed with lengthy discussions, interesting topics and knowledgeable professionals in their field.
Andrejs Garders from RPRO Ltd. shared his experience on Latvian building laws. Garders emphasized that the best and easiest way to be energy efficient and save natural resources is to use or use as little electricity, water, heat and more as possible. Also, Garders introduced the audience to the laws and regulations of energy performance and certification of buildings and how to understand and comply with them.
After Garders, the audience was addressed by Rūdolfs Birnbaums (Zehnder Baltics), who talked about the choice of cooling solutions and the methods used to determine the amount of heat / cold and air in the building. Birnbaums shared his experience of what investors want and how to reduce the cost of building, while making it as energy efficient as possible. During the presentation, Birnbaums and Kārlis Platacis (EVA Sistemas Ltd.) were eager to engage in discussions and answer questions from the audience, as well as showcasing the various Zehnder Baltics products until the end of the seminar.
Last year, Liepaja Energy Efficiency Center hosted more than 10 raffle workshops, educating a large number of Liepaja residents and Liepaja guests on energy efficiency. The next seminar is scheduled for September 19th on the topic of Digitization of Production. Keeps track of information on the Green and Smart Technology Cast facebook page.
The activity was implemented by the Green and Smart Technology Cluster, within the framework of the Cluster program (contract No. 3.2.1.1/16/A/016).
