The sixth B2B event “Shaping together a smarter and greener future” was held in Cluj Napoca on 30th -31st October organized by the Cluj IT Cluster. The event was organized within the framework of Green ICT Development – GIVE project. Host of the event was the Cluj Hub in Cluj-Napoca. The event was dedicated to supporting cross-industry collaboration and internationalization of SMEs to third markets, with a special focus on three different sectors Automotive, ICT and Smart Green Technologies.

DAY 1

The two-day conference included presentations from Automotive, ICT and Smart Green Tech companies, which shared the best practices and afterwards there were B2B meetings between the companies. The opening session started with welcome speeches by Ligia Georgescu, Consultant Investment & HR AHK România, Stelian Brad from Cluj IT Cluster and Phillipp Gleißner, Senior Manager Investor Service Invest in Bavaria. 

After the opening session the participants have had the opportunity to briefly present themselves. The presentations that followed were: Ligia Georgescu who presented the demand for products and services, networking and clusters in Bavaria, Sorana Cernea, Partener TPA Cluj who presented the legal and fiscal aspects in Bavaria and Phillipp Gleißner who presented the financing opportunities and information points in Bavaria. 

The first day of the event ended with meeting of the Consortium Members regarding the following activities in the GIVE project.

DAY 2

The first session in the second day of the event started with welcoming speech by Stelian Brad, President of the Cluj IT Cluster. Then followed Anna Naydenova, Executive Director of the ICT Cluster Bulgaria who presented the activities of GIVE project and the opportunities that SMEs have with the implementation of this project. 

The next speaker was Philipp Gleissner, Senior Manager Investor Services, Invest in Bavaria who presented the Open Manufacturing Platform. Then Ciprian Comsulea, Founder of CREESC presented the sustainability by cross-sectorial synergies. The last presentation for this session was by Tatiana Vucic, Executive Director, BIT Alliance that presented the gateway to the IT Industry in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

In the session “Best practices from companies” presented the following companies: Borisa Tomanic, Manager EDI-onboarding team, BG-Bcons, Serbia, Paul Zoicas, Innovation Lead, Digital Transformers, Romania, Adrian Lupau, Case Study in Automotive, PitechPlus, Ioan Dragan, Product Study X-Alert, Trencardis and Raivis Eksteins, InPass, Latvia.

The event ended with B2B meetings between the participants. At the B2B meetings the participants have had the opportunities to establish further cooperation and discuss present activities, products, services, joint projects, partnerships, exchange of experience and market information.

This event was a great opportunity to discover the best practices and experiences from the companies and to establish potential further cooperation between the companies.
