The Be The Future project aims to raise awareness of entrepreneurship as a possible career path and to encourage young women to put their business ideas into practice. During the project, participants will not only be able to learn how to step by step start a business and promote product in the market from entrepreneurs and leaders in various fields, but also get to know like-minded people, improve their English and work on developing their business idea.
Participants will work in training companies for 6 months. Each team will be represented by four young women from at least two partner countries – Latvia, Estonia and Sweden. The young women themselves will determine the time to invest in the development of the idea, so participation in the project will not interfere with learning or everyday hobbies and leisure. Furthermore, participation in the Be the Future project is free for all participants.
From 4th – 6th of March 75 participants from Latvia, Sweden and Estonia will meet in Liepaja, Latvia for the kick-off event of the third cycle. The final event of the third cycle is planned in August 2022, when the winning team that wins the trip to one of the European countries will be annouced.
The first cycle of the Be The Future project has already ended, while the teams of the second cycle continue to work intensively on the development of their ideas. “The Be The Future project is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge, whether you plan to link your life to business or not. Participants learn to cooperate and trust each other, work on their own development and significantly improve their English language skills. At first I doubted whether to apply, but now I know that it was the right decision, because, even after my participation in the project, I continue to develop the company “FixOrMix”,”Rēzija Egmane, a participant in the 1st cycle of the project, sharing her experience.

Within the framework of the Central Baltic Program project “Be The Future” is implemented In Latvia, Estonia and Sweden until 2022. The project aims to prepare, train and support 225 young women entrepreneurs in setting up and developing international training companies.
