An interactive webinar “Life cycle assessment – key to a sustainable future” will take place on February 4th online from 3 pm.
Young people from 15 – 30 years old are invited to participate in the webinar by filling in the application form.

The event will be in English.
At the event, experts from Latvia, Estonia and Denmark will share knowledge – what is life cycle analysis, who needs it and who benefits from it. They will introduce participants with terms such as circular economy, sustainable business models, effective resource use and name some good examples of practice in Europe and as well as show few useful tools available for anyone right away for building better future.
Meanwhile, participants will have the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops and view the life cycle assessment both from a customer and business perspective.

  • Laura Grundmane, manager of the project “Development of Innovation Center in Liepaja” (Latvia).
 The webinar is part of the project “Sharing product life cycle assessment and ecological footprint analysis in the Baltic Sea Region” with the aim of strengthening the green transition through the prism of sustainable life, bioeconomy and carbon neutrality, raising public and business awareness and promoting green course in the Baltic Sea region (Estonia, Latvia, Denmark).
The project is implemented by the Green and Smart Technology Cluster (Latvia), the non-profit organization Cleantech ForEst (Estonia) and the non-profit organization What if institute (Denmark). The project is funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers.
