We are excited to have officially launched the GENESIS journey together!
Over the past two days, all GENESIS project partners came together for the very first project event – our Kick-off Meeting and exploratory visits to the regional ecosystem.
The agenda was rich and inspiring: we started with introductions and a presentation of GreenTech Latvia, followed by a hashtag#I3instrument project implementation guidelines by EISMEA project advisor, and joint review of the project concept, milestones, and deliverables. Together, we explored mapping and benchmarking of innovation ecosystems, discussed ways of strengthening and connecting ecosystems, and listened to an inspiring experience story at Startup House Riga.
The second day was equally dynamic: we focused on masterclasses and showcases, matchmaking and business case identification, as well as communication, dissemination, and promotion. The day concluded with an insightful visit to RTU Science and Innovation Centre, where we explored opportunities for collaboration and innovation.
This first gathering has set a strong foundation for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and impactful actions ahead. A big thank you to all our project partners for making this start so successful!
