The global conference GoGlobal.Green will take place online from March 22 to 24, with the aim of showcasing places in the world where environmentally friendly and sustainable business has been successfully developed, as well as giving participants an insight into international markets and export opportunities. Furthermore entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to share their experiences of implementing a sustainable and circular economy. The association Green and Smart Technology Cluster and the association Impact Hub Liepāja are co-organizers of the event.

“For the second year in a row, the GoGlobal.Green Conference will bring together businesses and entrepreneurs from around the world to promote their sustainable growth and move towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In 3 days, the conference will cover the whole world – on the first day, companies from Asia and the Pacific will share their experience, on the second day, it will be possible to learn more about the specifics of European and African markets, and on the closing day, event will focus on international markets of South America and North America. The Green and Smart Technology Cluster is honored to organize the Europe Day, by demonstrating Latvia as a supportive and valuable environment for the creation and growth of green businesses, as well as sharing best practices from around the world from our own, our members and Latvian companies sustainability management experience,” informs Salvis Roga, Chairman of the Board of the Green and Smart Technology Cluster.

During the conference, the participants of the event will be able to listen to the experiences of entrepreneurs, participate in panel discussions with industry experts, make new contacts and network with entrepreneurs from all over the world, as well as participate in specially prepared workshops on entering new export markets.

Latvia will be represented in the stories section of the conference by Raivis Eksteins from the company Inpass, informing about data-based CO2 reduction, and Viktorija Martinsone from the company co2capture.fund, sharing experience on forest commercialization in digital assets. In turn, in the panel discussion on climate-neutral business will be represented by Imants Martinsons, Chairman of the New Enterprises Council of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Anete Grundberga, Member of the Board of the Green and Smart Technology Cluster, Nikita Kazakevics, Director of the Innovation and Technology Department of the Latvian Investment and Development Agency, and Raivis Eksteins, Executive Director of the technology company InPass.
